Informatica Next 25 Initiative: Fostering Growth and Success for Underrepresented Students

To celebrate 25 years of innovation, Informatica launched the Next 25 initiative at Informatica World 2018. The seven-year initiative is a partnership with The Public Education Foundation and Cashman Middle School in Las Vegas to close the opportunity and access gap for 25 students enrolled in Cashman’s STEM magnet school program.

best365体育投注英超The initiative provides hands-on learning opportunities, one-on-one student engagement, family involvement, Genius Camps to build social skills and self-confidence, and a $2,500 college scholarship for each participant.

Informatica Corporate Social Responsibility Program Awarded
Silver Medal Status

Informatica attained a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rating of Silver for 2019, showing our commitment to sustainable, responsible business processes. The rating is part of an independent third-party assessment that used the EcoVadis® methodology to evaluate our CSR performance across four themes: environment, ethics, labor and human rights, and sustainable procurement.

best365体育投注英超The EcoVadis methodology is based on international sustainability standards (Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact, ISO 26000), and supervised by a scientific committee of CSR and supply chain experts to ensure reliable third-party CSR assessments. The methodology analyzes the four themes according to our policies, our actions, and our results, then summarizes those findings into overall and theme-based scores. The themes cover key CSR issues:

Environment

All companies leave some environmental impact, whether it’s using electricity to run an office or contributing to deforestation for grazing land. This section covers the environmental issues that confront your company and how you mitigate them.

Ethics

This theme covers three topics: corruption and bribery, anti-competitive practices, and responsible marketing. There are increasing regulations that addresses business ethics, and these regulations often include a supply chain element.

Labor and human rights

The criteria in this theme are divided into two parts: human resources (such as health and safety, working conditions, structured social dialog, career management and training) and human rights issues such as child labor, forced labor, and discrimination.

Sustainable procurement

The risks your clients face on CSR issues are increasingly felt along their supply chain, which also includes your own supply chain: where resources come from, how they are made, and the CSR management systems of your suppliers.
